For more than 50 years, Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center has provided exceptional health care for all children. Le Bonheur is the first and only comprehensive pediatric medical facility within the Mid-South, treating more than 137,000 children each year. As a part of its strategic plan to continue to provide excellent health care, Le Bonheur is building a state-of-the-art, family-centered facility scheduled to open in 2010. Join the Pumpkin Run!
Lend your support to Le Bonheur and the young patients it serves. You are invited to participate in the Le Bonheur 5k Pumpkin Run! This is a family-friendly event . Children are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes and enjoy the post-race Boo Bash, which will include live entertainment by Adonai, food, and activities for kids! You can enter individually or form a team and walk in honor or memory of a loved one helped by Le Bonheur.
General Information
A 3.1-mile family-friendly course winds downhill through a scenic East Memphis neighborhood and Ridgeway Center. It is an excellent course whether you are a walker or a runner. Race begins at 9 a.m.
A Boo Bash post-race party at Marsh Headquarters on Ridgeway will include live entertainment by Adonai, food, and activities for kids!
Awards will be given to winners in 14 different age groups, as well as male and female and overall masters male and female winners;
Participants are eligible for one award only.
Walkers and strollers are welcome.
